SDA Elderly Care Referral Service, Inc.
A registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
We turn fixed incomes into secure, dignified homes. In 2025 we placed 110 low-income Central Florida seniors into safe, affordable housing.
What we do
- Housing placement — room rentals, studios, subsidized apartments, independent and assisted living referrals.
- Apartment listings — free listings for very low-income, affordable and subsidized housing apartments, matched to your income and county.
- Rental assistance — help with past-due rent, deposits and first month's rent so seniors can move in and stay housed.
- Food stamps (SNAP) applications — as an authorized partner of the Florida Department of Children and Families, we help you apply for food stamps and keep up with yearly renewals.
- Wraparound support — links to Meals on Wheels, Medicaid waivers and in-home care for long-term stability, plus referrals for:
- Utility bills — energy assistance and Lifeline phone & internet discounts
- Healthcare costs — Medicare Savings Programs and prescription drug help
- Food — SNAP food stamps, Meals on Wheels and local food programs
- Transportation — LYNX, ACCESS LYNX and Medicaid rides
- Emergency funds, ID help, legal aid and mental health support
- Furniture and household needs, and rent help from partner agencies

Leadership
Lecia Marr-Bromley
Founder & Executive Director
Lecia founded SDA Elderly Care Referral Service to connect seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities to safe, affordable housing. She leads the organization's programs, partnerships, and community outreach across Central Florida, and works client cases directly.
Almaria Griffin
Director of Housing
Almaria directs our housing programs and guides clients through the placement process, from the first search to move-in support.
Elaine Solomon
Brevard County Manager
Elaine manages our work across Brevard County, supporting tenants and housing providers in the area.
Supervision
Grisel Ramos
Supervisor
Grisel supervises our day-to-day operations, ensuring clients receive total support. She oversees self-supportive wrap-around services and manages placement matching for room rentals, apartments, studios, and ALF/ILF housing.

Team Lead
Rita leads our customer service team day to day, reviews completed accounts, and supports our reps so every client gets careful, timely follow-through.

Christina takes the lead in community outreach, working dedicatedly to reach every individual in need and ensure our clients are successfully matched with the right care and housing providers.

Housing Provider Rep
Marie Jean manages our housing provider relationships — onboarding new providers, sourcing rooms and apartments, and matching clients with the right housing options.

Lisa works with our customer service team, helping clients with their questions, applications, and day-to-day follow-through.
